Aluminium extrusion is a process whereby a high-pressure ram pushes an aluminium billet through extrusion dies to produce a profile. Aluminium extrusion is the manufacturing process of forming aluminium alloy sheets to cross sections by passing the sheets through semi-finished extrusion dies. The cross-sections vary from square, rectangular, hexagonal, oval and circular. Extruded aluminium products are very popular in the industry because of their lightweight, corrosion resistance, good strength to weight ratio, and easy fabrication.
